Blogpost 13: Pepero Day

Originally. Pepero is from South Korea. Pepero is a long korean chocolate cookie stick. It also has a different flavors. Strawberry, Almond and White Chocolate.

The purpose of the Pepero day is to exchange Peperos with each other or to show affection with your firends or your loved-ones. My friends and I also exchanged Peperos since it is a sign of showing affection with your friends we also did it because we love our friendship that we are having right now.

During the Pepero day. There are a lots of games anywhere at the parking lot. It could challenge your physical and mental skills in different games. Also, Peperos are free! You just have to write your basic information about yourself and etc. There's a photo-booth that can use by anyone around the parking lot.

The APC Band was also there to perform their music. I honestly enjoyed to the music that they're playing because they're actually pretty good.I really had fun on that day, Because my friends were also there enjoying the event at our school. Everyone was seems to be happy and lively. And if ever they make that event again. I will actually attend their event again because it is really fun.

Blogpost 12: Media Literacy Seminar

Honestly, The Media Literacy Seminar gave me more ideas about the medias and social media. Even though I already know  that not everything that are posted in the internet or that is showed on our televisions are true. It could just be a story made by someone else or it could be the media is hiding something from us.

Not every details are showed to the public. Because it could damage the reputation of the other people.
For example, Our Presidential candidates. Not all of the information that we have to know about them is showed to the media. There are things that the media is hiding from the public. Why? The media could be blame on the things that they're reporting on screen. Even though they're just playing safe to save their job.

We as the public must know what is really happening to our country. The media is also giving us false information. They made us believe that everything they say is true. But people nowadays are intelligent enough to identify if the news, article, information are reliable. People would search for more information regarding the topic that the media showed to the public.

And for me personally. I believe on some articles that I read everyday but I also make my own research to justify that certain article.  I don't believe that easily to the things that I just heard, watched and read. There are things that I research first before I believe on the specific topic.

Blogpost 10: Plagiarism

Plagiarism is a form of stealing someones work and represent it as if it is your own work. We all know that plagiarism is not a good thing to do. Plagiarism is considered a crime because it is an act of illegaly copying owned materials and using it for personal gain. In the Philippines it is highly punishable by law. Plagiarism example is cam-cording movies in the cinemas. It is not right to copy the works of the other author because they worked hard for it. Stealing the ideas' of the other people without crediting the main source. Plagiarism is like copying the whole sentences but changing the other words.

There are many ways to avoid PLAGIARISM. For example, This blog that I am writing, I got my ideas about this topic with the help of INTERNET. as a blogger, you can easily cite source from the internet and to avoid plagiarism you must credit the source of your blog.

You can also Paraphrase the ideas that you've read. It is not that hard to change the sentence as long as you know what's the meaning of that sentence you could easily make your own words by using paraphrase.

In conclusion, Plagiarism is stealing of the works of the others and not giving the main source a credit and you represent it as your own work.

Blogpost 9: APC SoM Week.

MA 151

This is the block of Marketing and Advertising students. They did the opening ceremony during the SoM week. They did their performance very well and they really showed that they really deserve to be the champion of Speech Choir Competition 2015

My experience during the SoM week was not the same feeling that I felt before when I entered APC.  A lot of things changed, I entered APC way back 2010 and during that time everything to me was amazing.

I am disappointed on this term School of Management week. and also, I think SoAB or School of Administration and Business is more appealing to me rather than SoM.

I didn't had the chance to take pictures of this event because I was not really happy about it. But all of these thoughts that I've  written down here is based on my observation.

Many students also said that SoM week is not the same event for management students. It needs a lot of improvements. This SoM week doesn't reach the expectations of the old students of APC. I know it is just not me. But a lot of students as well are disappointed.

I hope that the SoM week this 2016 will be more entertaining and fun just like how it used to be.

Blogpost 8: "ANG TATAY MONG KALBO" by Isagani Cruz

"Ang Tatay Mong Kalbo" It is a play that doesn't gives any sense. The play is a bit entertaining for me, but it doesn't give any sense at all.

Mr. and Mrs. Santos were having a dinner and they were talking about the food that they had for dinner and they're also talking about the family of Gene San Juan's.

Basically, the play was really entertaining but it is really absurd. Absurd means nonsense. But the good side of this story is that. They made the audience laugh.  This stage play shows slice of life. It talks about all nonsense things that also happens to our life. It shows that people love to chit chatting.

It shows that people would love to waste their time on just by chit chatting to other people. Talking about nonsense things.

The cast did a great to job to their roles. They gave us the audience a good laugh and left a big smile on our face. If I could watch their next plays with a humor like this. I would love to watch them again. Kudos  to the Production Team of Teatre Phileo!

Blogpost 7: TURN LEFT, TURN RIGHT (MOVIE ANALYSIS)

“Life is full of coincidences…even two parallel limns might some day meet”

At first sight the movie wasn't really appealing to me. Honestly I really didn't pay attention to the movie on the first few minutes. But, It  really caught my attention when they started sharing all their childhood memories. It became more interesting when Takeshi started to talk about his high school crush. Takeshi doesn't have any idea that the girl he is talking to is the same girl that he is waiting for her to call him. He doesn't have any idea that the girl who asked for his land line number 13 years ago was Gigi. Similarly Gigi also shared her childhood memories to Takeshi. It seems like they had the same story when they were in their high school. It's not coincidence but its their destiny. Gigi was the one who asked for Takeshi's land line number on the train. But unfortunately, Gigi left her bag on the train. That's why they didn't had the chance to talk. But after 13 years they accidentally bump to each other again on the fountain. When Gigi dropped all of her poems  into the water. Takeshi helped him to pick it all up. And that's were all it started AGAIN.

"If two people meet and they both fall in love, that's destiny for sure.If neither loves the other, even if they meet millions of times, it's still not destiny."

I must say that the movie was really good. Though some of the scenes is really impossible to happen in real life. Although this may be true, but i really don't think it'll ever happen. Maybe so one in million, billion or trillion that this could happen to anyone.

In the final analysis. This movie is simply telling us that destiny really could happen. If we are patient enough to wait for our so called "The One" then we will have to get pass through many obstacles. If it is for you then it is for you, but if not, maybe someone is really for you and you just have to wait for the right time. One day you'll meet your the one on the right place and right time. Don't be in a rush. Time will come, One day you'll meet your "The One"

In my opinion, I believe that if you really like the person you'll do anything for him/her. If destiny is not in my favor, Then i'll find another way to get what I want until I get tired and get over with it. besides no one really knows if it is really for them. Chances are still high then i will just do what ever I want.
